Assessment Fees and Scheduling
At Foundations Tutoring, an initial assessment is priced at $400. This comprehensive evaluation takes approximately one hour and helps us determine the most effective tutoring strategy for your child. To schedule an assessment, please fill out our request form here.
Tutoring Sessions Details
Our tutoring sessions are 55 minutes long and are scheduled at least twice per week. We base our pricing on 46 weeks of tutoring per year, allowing for six weeks of breaks. These include:
- One week off for Spring Break
- One week off for Thanksgiving
- Two weeks off for Winter Break
- Two weeks off for Summer Vacation (dates arranged individually)
These breaks align with the Pleasanton Unified School District calendar, except for Summer, which is tailored to each student’s needs.
Payment and Contract Terms
We offer flexible payment options with no long-term contracts required. Tuition is billed monthly in advance, providing you with a convenient payment schedule.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
To ensure we can accommodate all our students effectively, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a tutoring session. While we do not offer refunds for missed sessions, we will be glad to arrange a make-up session if proper notice is given.
